Our Philosophy
Our Mission is to empower, enrich and educate children through the world of ballroom dancing. We aim to provide a safe environment for children to develop motor skills, sense of self and social skills which is essential in building confidence and fostering a deep sense of respect for their peers.
Developed by dancers, choreographers, teachers and parents, we work hard every day to inspire children both during class and in their lives.
AGE GROUPS PROGRAMS
Age 1-5
All preschool classes are designed to introduce age appropriate coursework for the young dancer's physical, emotional, and social skills. The class develops the basic elements of creative movement, vocabulary and music. Primary objectives are geared toward inspiration, self-expression, creativity, and imagination. Young children experience the love of learning through dance and music.
Age 6-8
Classes designed to develop the Kindergarten through second grade student with age appropriate coursework developing elementary through intermediate skills in dance, choreography, vocabulary and musicality with stylized execution of the dance genre. we now properly introduce the steps of ballroom dancing and we teach the children to get an understanding of partnering and etiquette. These are all skills they will carry with them for life. The classroom focus will be on technique, self-expression, and performance within the joy of a disciplined yet encouraging learning environment..
Age 8-12
Classes designed to develop the second through sixth grade student with age appropriate coursework developing elementary through intermediate skills in dance, choreography, vocabulary and musicality stylized execution of the dance genre. The classroom focus will be on technique, self-expression, and performance within the joy of a disciplined yet encouraging learning environment. At this age we can easily learn and remember choreography, so we challenge the children with fine motor skill learning through dance technique and we combine our ballroom dance learning with fun and popular music, to get just the right mix of skill, etiquette and of course cool! Students will be advanced based on their demonstartion skills and their years of training.
Pre-Teen/Teens
Class designed to develop the sixth grade through college age student with cousework developing elementary through advanced skills in dance, choreography, vocabulary, and musicality with stylized execution of the dance genre. the class will develop technique, self-expression, strength, and the complexity of combinations and level of performance. A respectful attitude, regular attendance, the ability to demonstrate skills at each level of advancement with bring forth the spirit of joy, teamwork, and accomplishment.
